The master blaster of the so called God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is expected to go for a precautionary MRI scan on today.
The cricketer will go for MRI scan after he was hit on his head by a harshly lifting delivery from Australian fast bowler Brett Lee while batting in the tri-series match against Australia which India lost by 110 runs here at Gabba cricket ground on Sunday.
Sachin Tendulkar had misread the ball by Lee and the ball hit on his head, it was the second over from Lee. Though, the ball hit the grill of his helmet and bounced off to mid-on where Xavier Doherty took the ‘catch’.
Each player from the Australia team went up in appeal, expecting that they got Sachin’s wicket, but umpire Steve Davis was convinced it hadn’t touched Sachin’s bat before striking his helmet at the Gabba on Sunday. Read More
