Bhaag Milkha Bhaag: Ladakh trip makes Farhan Akhtar nostalgic

It is said that director-actor Farhan Akhtar got nostalgic about his trip to Lahakh as it brought back many memories to him.

The actor is currently in Ladakh for the shoot of his upcoming film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

The 38-years-old actor tweets, “Leaving for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag second schedule. To the heavenly location called Ladakh. Mind racing back to time spent there 10 years ago, filming Lakshya.”

Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar is the second bollywood actor who is now shooting in Jammu & Kashmir after King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, who is shooting in Srinagar for his upcoming film.

Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and the the film will be a biopic of ace athlete Milkha Singh, also known as ‘Flying Sikh’, and Farhan Akhtar plays the lead role.

The film also casts actress Sonam Kapoor in a very special role.

Farhan Akhtar, who started his Bollywood career as a director with the 2001 hit film, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, shot his second directorial venture, Lakshya, in Ladakh in 2004 with Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.

Moreover, Flying Sikh Milkha Singh and golfer Jeev Milkha Singh presented the shoes that Milkha Singh wore in the 1960 Rome Olympics to Farhan Akhtar who plays his role in the film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.

Reports have said that the film might release on 19 July 2013.
