During his two-day Chintan Manthan or brainstorming session, started today, Mr. Gadkari met Yeddyurappa in Bangalore to take some guidelines for removal of a huddle with all its MLAs and MPs as another crisis over issuing an ultimatum to his party in Karnataka.

As per source report, Yeddyurappa said that he was dissatisfied with the current chief minister, Sadananda Gowda who getting too close for comfort to his rival JDS chief HD Deve Gowda. Govt won’t take solid action on homosexuality

Indian govt. still confused to take a clear stand on “homosexuality”, hesitating to represent its arguments before the Supreme Court on Thursday.

The Supreme Court ire while Additional Solicitor-General PP Malhotra first told the court that same-sex relations were “highly immoral and against societal order,” only to have the government clarify later.

A strong criticism of the government for its failure to clarify its position on the 2009 Delhi high court (HC) verdict decriminalizing homosexuality is the main reason behind its volte-face and said it had not taken a stand on the issue.

The anti-gay rights activists and political, social and religious organizations has filed petition against govt.

On Thursday, A bench of justices GS Singhvi and SJ Mukhopadhaya was hearing petition of those who have opposed the HC verdict. Read more

Chennai Police gunned down 5 robbers in encounter

On Thursday, South Chennai housing colony was going to be dark in early morning while Police encountered five bank robbers who had struck twice within a month.

As per source said, four robbers as Vinod Kumar, Chandrika Ray, Harish Kumar, Vinay Prasad were identified from Bihar and another one Abhay Kumar was from West Bengal

A Tamil Nadu-based private university was the main point from where this gang had dropout that led by Vinod. The Perungudi branch of had targeted by this gang who looted over all Rs lakh from on January 23. On February 20, the gang had looted Rs 14 lakh from.

According to Police, the accused had looted Rs 33 lakh from two banks- the Bank of Baroda and the Indian Overseas Bank, in the city’s suburbs at gunpoint within a month. And all were stayed in a house in Velachery of south Chennai colony. Read more

baba ramdev 280x300 No evidence found against Baba Ramdev: Delhi PoliceThe Delhi Police today informed that there is no proof of against Baba Ramdev allegedly promotes enmity between religious groups at a press conference in January.

In last month of January, while the ink pouring incident had happened with yoga guru Ramdev, then Kamran Siddique had filed a petition in court against Ramdev to provoke his supporters to assault him.

Siddique is the suspected ink thrower who sought action against Baba Ramdev for allegedly speaking against the Muslim community and allegedly beaten up by the yoga guru’s supporters after incident.

After this case, Siddique was filled another separate case as addition to it, of promoting enmity between religious groups.

The positive response in side of Delhi police has come with direction of court which at its last hearing sought o evidence that show Ramdev to be accused for the ink pouring incident. Read more
