The luxury car maker, Fiat all set to start Jeep’s India innings with the very popular and its two latest versions -Wrangler and Grand Cherokee SUVs in India as soon as possible this week.
As the two models have arrived at Pune plant of Fiat, Ranjangaon , reports said, adding that the company will launch its cars by 4th quarter of 2013.
Both Luxury SUVs are on test drive in India that scheduled from this week and being checked regularly.
The 2014 Grand Cherokee was showcased at the ongoing Detroit Auto Show, but not for India.
Jeep Wrangler is produced in Toledo, Ohio and the Grand Cherokee is produced on Jefferson in downtown Detroit, as company said.
This production process will carry on further also at the same place from where it will be distributed globally.
Now the company will launch the 2013 model in India, Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee, source said.
If we talk about pricing, media reports said that Jeep Wrangler will land in market at price range starting from Rs 30 lakhs, while Grand Cherokee will starting at price of Rs 45 lakhs.
