Google- Samsung Electronics has launched a user friendly low cost, silver designed stylish laptop computer, called Samsung Chromebook, targeting higher sale units in comparison to Microsoft and Apple.
Samsung Chromebook is running on new operating system Google’s Chrome on the ARM platform. Google has landed its latest launch in market with lowest cost at Rs. $249, expected to be less than Microsoft products running on latest Windows 8 to be unveiled on next week.
The 11.6-inch Chromebook is reported to be 2.5 pounds weight featuring full-size Chrome keyboard and is powered by a Samsung Exynos 5 dual-core processor, called as Netbook, lacking a hard drive for storage.
Users need to have Internet connection and the new Samsung Chromebook comes with 16GB SSD, with free 100 GB online storage, 2 GB internal memory. For connections, there are 2 USB ports, HDMI Port, Bluetooth Wi-Fi-only.
On the online stores such as Best Buy, Amazon and other retail outlet, users can book on pre order $249 Google-Samsung Chromebook which would be delivered on next week.
