I had a huge emotional connect with Bal Thackeray, says Imam Siddique

The Bigg Boss 6 wild card entry Imam Siddique has lost in the finals to Urvashi Dholakia, but he really enjoys his stay in the house.

However, Imam was disliked by many housemates in the house of the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 6’ aired of Colors TV, but aam janta loved his and his madness.

Imam showed his madness many time during the show at the time when he gets angry with other members of the house and his very famous line in the house was ‘Time Out’, which has become very popular in viewers.

Imam Siddique has won the award of best entertainer of the show and along with he won Rs 5 lakh cash prize. He is happy with the show and the love he gets from aam janta, but amidst all this excitement, he gets emotional speaking about his “huge personal loss.”

He said, “I will never forget the day when I was giving a performance of Ardh Narishwar on stage and Balasaheb Thackeray was the chief guest.”

Imam said, “Tuzha nritya baghun mala prerna milaali! (Your dance was inspirational)”

Further, talking to media, Imam said, “Since then, I have felt a deep emotional connect with him. I admired Balasaheb and his forthright manner! In fact, inside the house, I was extremely restless once and got into myriad pangas with everyone. And when I came out of the house, I learnt that Balasaheb was cremated that day. I guess, my heart knew that something was terribly wrong!”

Marathi Manoos at heart Interestingly, Imam speaks chaste Marathi, with all those ethnic nuances, which make the language so endearing.

Further, Imam said, “I’m a Mumbaikar and a Marathi Manoos, so my Marathi has to be chaste! I’m also proud of the fact that I saved three foreigners at the time of Mumbai terror attack of 26/11.”
