Today is a very big day for millions of cricket fans as two big teams of Cricket world will plays against each other in the ICC World Twenty20. India vs Pakistan is always the all time high voltage cricket match.
The Indian cricket team will take on Pakistan in their do-or-die super eights match played at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Last time, India played against Pakistan in Asia Cup and Virat Kohli was the hero of the match. Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli will be the center of attraction and captain MS Dhoni want good batting as well as bowling performance from his team.
On the other hand, Pakistan is a much stronger team now; they are improving their performance with every game. And, it would be tough job for Indians to beat Pakistan this time.
It would be interesting to see, if opener Virender Sehwag will play against Pakistan today or not?
MS Dhoni said, “ Well, we had only two options. I don’t like to take name individuals but we had to choose between the two options. I feel in this kind of a game we should go with horses for courses, so the player that does well against a certain side we should play them. So, to justify the exclusion of a certain player is difficult.”
Former Pakistani cricket and captain Inzamam-ul-Haq said, “I don’t know much about the Virender Sehwag issue. But if he is fit, my advice to Dhoni is simple – put his name first on the team list.”
Former captain of India, Sunil Gavaskar said, “Gautam Gambhir is a very good street smart cricketer. He has a very good understanding with Sehwag and so breaking their partnership was not a good idea. He (Sehwag) has a fear factor against the opposition.”
