As per the fresh India News, it is now less than 24 hours when Anna Hazare will start his fast against “weak” Lokpal bill, central government asked Anna Hazare to wait for the results of Parliament’s debate on the legislation tomorrow before starting his fast.
Talking to media, the minister of state for parliamentary affairs Rajiv Shukla said that one should leave this matter to Parliament to take final decision on the Lokpal as it is in its domain now.
The minister said, “The government has already piloted the Bill in Lok Sabha. It is a very strong and effective Bill. So, I think we will go by the decision of Parliament. Everybody will be deliberating upon that.”
While answering to a question that whether he thought Anna Hazare should have more patience on the issue, the minister said, “I would only request him (Hazare) to wait for the outcome of Parliament.”
On the other hand, Anna Hazare is all set to launch his three day fast from tomorrow in Mumbai, to fight against corruption and in demand of strong Lokpal Bill. The Lok Sabha is likely to hold talks on the crucial legislation tomorrow.
Doctors have earlier said that Anna Hazare is suffering from viral infection, speaking on this, Mr. Shukla said, “I will always wish him the best health. At the same time, I think he should wait for the outcome of Parliament and then only he should go ahead.”
In addition, Congress spokesman Rashid Alvi said, “Whenever it is asked whether Anna Hazare shares same views as BJP and RSS, instead of Team Anna replying to the question we have the BJP and RSS clarifying that Hazare has no link with them. I am surprised with such kind of equation shared between them.”
