Indian market penetrated very rapidly, welcoming new entrants and now entry of another handset maker –California based Swipe Telecom has made in India.
Collaborating with Music channel MTV, Swipe Telecom has announced to introduce a range of smartphones and tablets in the next two years, one has made available today – MTV Volt.
MTV Volt is a phablet, the first device comes in India with a 3G dual SIM capabilities and a 6 inch 5 point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
Powered by a dual core 1GHz MediaTek MTK 6577 processor, the device has Android 4.1 Jelly bean OS, offering excellent performance with 8MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera.
MTV Volt is specially designed for a young generation with focusing of communication, entertainment and socialization and with features as well as price-point suited to their pockets.
Additional features are of 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via a micro SD card slot and for connectivity, MTV Volt has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0 and 3G.
MTV Volt six inch phablet has competition with Karbonn and Samsung, but being confident with a great response from Indian public, the company has set MTV Volt price at Rs 12,999 and made available across all the major online retailer sites.
