In an attempt to raise his demand of a special status for Bihar, Bihar CM is going to address Adhikar rally at Ram Lila Ground at national capital today.
The long one year climax stated mega rally is likely to be addressed by Mr. Kumar along with party president Sharad Yadav to get rid of economic backwardness of state and demands a financial help and concessions from the Central government, source said.
In a large amount around 60,000 attendants across the parties are participating in the Adhikar rally along with huge crowd of JD (U) supporters, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders.
Targeting Union Govt over its unfulfilled promises, Bihar CM Kumar said, Centre must take note of Bihar’s potential as its right to develop and progress.
A clash has erupted at the venue as reported, when a man, waving a piece of black cloth at the rally, assaulted by the JD(U) protesters. Police arrested them and a check on traffic movement has called on at route of Rajghat, India Gate, Kamla Market and Shanti Van, sources added.
It has said that the party will passed a resolution at the rally to push equal distribution of natural resources to Bihar. And the move seems to be a tact as Nitish Kumar’s massive sought to give special status to Bihar will lead to it’s strengthen position in the next General Elections.
