Pakistani Army involved in Killing of two Indian soldiers, says AK Antony

The Defence Minister of the country, AK Antony on Wednesday said that there is ‘clear evidence’ of involvement of the Pakistani Army soldiers in the killing of two Indian soldiers whose bodies were also mutilated, an action described as “inhuman”.

Talking to media, AK Antony said, “That it happened there is a reality. There is clear evidence to it. It is highly provocative action on the part of the Pakistan army.”

The Defence Minister was talking to media in Kolkata and gave his statement on the killing of two Indian soldiers in yesterday’s attack across the Line of Control(LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said, “The way they treated the dead bodies of the Indian soldiers is inhuman.”

Talking with media in New Delhi, AK Antony said, “Pakistan Army’s action is highly provocative. The way they treated the dead bodies of Indian soldiers is inhuman…We are closely following the situation.”

Further, the statement issued by its High Commission in New Delhi said, “Pakistan strongly rejects the Indian allegation of an attack across the LoC on its military patrol in which two Indian soldiers were claimed to have been killed. These are baseless and unfounded allegations.”

Earlier, it was said in news that Pakistani soldier crossed Indian border in Poonch sector and attacked an Indian patrol killing two Indian soldiers, one of whom was decapitated.

The details released by the Indian Army said that the two Indian soldiers killed were Lance Naiks, Hemraj and Sudhakar Singh. They were chopped off and one was taken away by Pakistani intruders.

Such attack was done by Pakistani soldiers in 1999 Kargil War when they attacked Capt Saurabh Kalia and his team in Kaksar sector.
