Lashkar-e-Toiba has tremendous public support in Pak, says Pervez Musharraf

The latest world news state that the former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Saturday said in an interview that Lashkar-e-Toiba enjoys “tremendous public support” in Pakistan and it would be very tough for the Pak government to take action against them.

The former army chief and President was sharing his views with media at a press conference at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit on Saturday.

He said, “They have tremendous public support and during the earthquake in Pakistan, the best NGO doing welfare for the people was their front organization.” Read more

Indian army arrests Pak soldier in Jammu & Kashmir

According to fresh news, a Pakistani Army jawan was arrested by the Indian Army who crossed over to India of the Line on Control [LoC] in Jammu & Kashmir.

Reports have said that he is identified as Aarif Ali, 19-years-old and was nabbed from Kirnia village in Poonch sector close to the LoC.

He further told India Army that he belongs to the Charli Company of 22 Frontier Force of the Pakistani Army and was deployed at Saifullah-2 post near the Indian border. Read more

Pakistan govt. has amidst tight its actions to arrest and brought back Musharraf from self-exile who is at present living outside the country.

Now difficult time has started for Musharraf to get rid off from the Pakistan govt. as he has been declared a “proclaimed offender” by an anti-terrorism court being accused of involvement in the assassination. Read more
