According to latest Business sector news, Reliance Communications [RCom] has announced the report with a 3.1 percent growth in the company’s consolidated net profit at Rs 162 crore for the first quarter ended on June 30, this year.
The Anil Ambani-led firm, RCom, announced a net profit of Rs 157 crore for the same period of the last financial year.
Meanwhile, the total earnings of the company in the first quarter of 2012 increased by 8.5 percent to Rs 5,264 crore as compared to Rs 4,849 crore in the same period of the last financial year.
In a statement issued by the company, it said, “The Company continues to be free cash flow positive.”
Further, it said in a statement to BSE, “RCom generated operational cash flow of Rs 1,650 crore in the first quarter. This is the second full year of positive free cash flow for the company and this trend will continue in succeeding years.”
