This time the name is of one of the best cricketer of Australia, Ricky Ponting who set to disappoint his fans as the cricketer is going to retire from cricket just after the third Test against South Africa in Perth on Friday.

Australia’s greatest and strongest batsman, Ponting, who turns 38 next month, is the highest run-scorer of all time who  give his excellent 17 years career performance  to the country .

Meanwhile, today Ponting is playing his 168th as well as last Test against SA . Reports are also that Ponting will play this season for Tasmania and represent Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League, Australia’s domestic T20 tournament.

“This is not a decision that’s been made by the selectors, this is a decision that’s been made by me. I’m glad I’ve got the opportunity to finish on my terms. I know I’ve given cricket my all, ” Ponting said while announcing his retirement decision.
