According to latest news, the highest investigation agency of the country, CBI, has today submitted its status reports in the Aircel-Maxis deal in the Supreme Court.
The CBI said in its report today that the domestic investigation in the case is complete.
Source said that the CBI is probing a powerful person in Malaysia in connection with Aircel-Maxis deal. However, now the CBI said that its investigation has been completed in Malaysia and Mauritius. Read more
A row over 60-year-old cartoon of BR Ambedkar turned with more controversial while two activists of Republican Panther of India ransacked the Former NCERT adviser Professor Suhas Palshikar’s office.
Palshikar, head of the political science department, resigned earlier while the issue of publishing a cartoon on Dr BR Ambedkar in NCERT schoolbooks. Read more
In Lok Sabha, while assembly augmenting over home minister P Chidambaram’s statement in the Aircel-Maxis deal on Friday, new one issue rose of a cartoon picture of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar printed in an NCERT textbook.
The Union HRD Minister, Kapil Sibal promised to remove such objectionable caricature from the NCERT textbooks next year. Read more
