ShahRukh Khan praises Amitabh Bachchan as the original Don

The King Khan of Bollywood, ShahRukh Khan has recently said in an interview that Super star Amitabh Bachchan is the “cent per cent original Don”, adding that Don 2 was inspired by the 1978 film starring Big B.

Talking to media, during the promotion of the film, the actor said, “Amit ji is cent per cent Don and I have full respect for him,” SRK told reporters on his maiden visit to Patna to promote his film, ‘Don 2.”

Along with lead lady of the film, Priyanka Chopra and film director Farhan Akhtar, actor ShahRukh Khan said, “We have been inspired by Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Don’ and filmed ‘Don 2 – The King Is Back’ to get accepted by the new generation.” Read more

As per the fresh news, Kolaveri Di singer Dhanush has called on Amitabh Bachchan, the ‘Big B’ of Bollywood, in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, the meeting came just few days after Amitabh Bachchan posted on his twitter account about ‘Why this kolaveri di…’ and hailed Dhanush for penning and crooning the song.

After meeting with super star Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush posted on his micro-blogging page: “It was a pleasure and honour meeting you, sir. I’m glad I received your blessings.”
