Debate on Lokpal Bill will start at 11am in Parliament today

Today, in the battle of Lokpal, The social activist Anna Hazare will begin his three-day fast at 11 am at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai to press for passing a strong Lokpal Bill.

The entire television screen and the other arrangement have been organized at the MMRDA Grounds.

Now today, a show of arguments will be started between UPA government and Team Anna. From a report, the initial discussion to take up Lokpal Bill for debate will be in Parliament.

The UPA government has minority in Rajya Sabha, but numbers of member in the Lok Sabha. So it will not be easy to passing the Bill in the Rajya Sabha.

However at last minute the government is making a bid to reach out to the Opposition, admitting it doesn’t have the two third majorities it needs to move for a constitutional amendment granting constitutional status to the Lokpal. Minority quota may lead to civil war in India

The decision to allow a 4.5 per cent reservation for religious minorities within the 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) that comes ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections is put govt. into a difficult situation.

Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis) are notified as minority communities under Section 2 (c) of the Act.

But Team Anna and other BJP party calls it to be a political game, through such tactics congress would try to put a “civil war” among different communities.

On Friday, BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, “The quota within quota is Congress party’s dangerous political game, which can lead to a civil war among the different communities and castes.”

However, the quota within quota is seemed to be Congress party’s strategy to exploit the Muslim votes for political gains which it has been doing by it for the last 60 years. Read more

BJP leader LK Advani ends his Jan Chetna Yatra

On Sunday In the capital of India, LK Advani, the most prominent Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader will publish a rally in his 40-day Jan Chetna Yatra — blowing the issue of black money related with corruption to get public attention regarding such an issue.

The most top BJP leaders Nitin Gadkari and Ananth Kumar and leaders of opposition in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, respectively will hold the rally. The rally will be organized at the Ramlila Grounds at 11 am.
