rajesh talwar 259x300 Aarushi Murder Case: Bail or Jail for Rajesh TalwarRajesh Talwar who is facing trial along with his wife Nupur Talwar for allegedly killing his teenaged daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj in 2008, his interim bail plea will be heard in Supreme Court in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case today.

On the intervening night of May 15-16, 2008, Talwar’s daughter Aarushi found dead at the family’s Noida residence and the body of domestic help Hemraj was found dead on the terrace the following day.

Although AK Ganguly and JS Khehar, a bench of justices, had rejected the couple’s appeal last week, now will hear the petition for interim bail in the sensational murder case.

However the Supreme Court rejected their appeal to quash criminal proceedings against them. The Ghaziabad magistrate’s order was completely verified and justice that taking cognisance against them and putting them on trial. Read more

bhanwari devi death Bhanwari Devi case: CBI recovers charred bones, jewelleryAt the place where Rajasthan nurse Bhanwari Devi was murdered and burnt to death, CBI team has found a wrist watch, a toe ring, a pendant and a broken chain.
Investigating the whole place, these all things have been recovered from the Indira Gandhi canal near Jaloda village in Jodhpur, the place where Bhanwari’s body burnt.

According to CBI sources, the items belonged to Bhanwari Devi who had missed on September 1, 2011. A team of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) recovered some items from the Jaloda canal suspected to be belonging one who disposed off her body and the nurse herself. The items included two guns, a gunny bag, a bat and some bone parts.

Two politician ministers Malkhan Singh Bishnoi and Congress minister Mahipal Maderna were took under custody over the murder case.

Mahipal Maderna was arrested and later on sacked from his party post after a CD was found showing the nurse in a compromising position with the minister. Read more

Arushi’s murder case is a mysterious case under which CBI could be found any evidence against any people who contacted with it.

So many criticisms had been drawn for CBI regarding its twists and turns while probing the sensational Arushi Talwar murder case at well protected Noida house in May 2008.

So the Supreme Court on Friday rejected the petition filed by the doctor couple, Rajesh and Nupur, seeking quashing of the summons issued to them by the trial court to face the prosecution , that give much comfort to the agency.

However claiming some credit for its “smart” move in the case, the agency’s former director Joginder Singh said: “If the trial court decided that the CBI’s closure report had enough evidence for trying Nupur and Rajesh Talwar, it was because the agency had placed all the details before it. It was an honest thing to do.”

In December 2010, being filed the closure report over case by giving relief to all the other suspects, CBI had pointed the needle of suspicion at the Talwars – in the trial court. It had not filed chargesheet like other because no evidence had found against the Talwars. Read more

bhanwari devi murder 300x179 CBI recovers the bat used to smash Bhanwari DeviThe Rajasthan police have found another clue with help of divers, the bat that was used to hit Bhanwari Devi.

Bhanwari Devi, a nurse who lived near Jodhpur, disappeared from near her home in September.

On the CBI’s report the bat was found by divers in the canal that was used to smash her skull by the men who were hired to kill her.

However CBI took two of the hired hit-men to the Rajiv Gandhi Lift Canal near the village of Jaloda, 100 kms from Jodhpur where the nurse’s body was set on fire.

Two politicians including a former minister Malkhan Singh and Mahipal Maderna have been arrested for murder and were forced to resign as minister after Bhanwari went missing. Read more
