No more surgery, Amitabh Bachchan is recovering

The biggest relief of Amitabh Bachchan fans is that the actor is now improving and doctors have said to media today morning that no more surgery is required.

The declaration was made by the doctors at the Seven Hills Hospital on Friday.

An official from the hospital said, “The surgery was supposed to happen but after the check up, doctors decided there is no need of any surgery. He is doing fine.”

Meanwhile, the superstar had already faced two abdominal surgeries Saturday. Earlier, Amitabh also felt some pain in his stomatch, due to which his stay in the hospital was extended.

Though, on Thursday night, the actor posted on his blog that more doctors have been called for consultation over his health condition as well as that a slit on the neck was made — representing grave health concerns. But all seems under control now. Read more

Amitabh Bachchan to undergo another abdominal surgery

The super star of the Hindi Film Industry Amitabh Bachchan has yesterday said on his social networking site Twitter that he will have to undergo another surgery and so that he will have to stay in the hospital for long.

Meanwhile, the 69-year-old actor is presently undergoing a treatment at the Seven Hills hospital. He posted on Twitter that he was required to make another visit to the operation theatre.

Though, the actor gave no details about the operation, he posted, “Some more tests… more unpronounceable medication…and… another visit to the OT… operation theatre! Going to be a long stay.”

He further posted, “I have no idea now how long this will take, but it does look as though it will be long… thank you for your prayers and love.” Read more

The elections are taking place in Thane, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Solapur, Ulhasnagar, Pune, Nashik, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur and Mumbai Municipal Corporation, where a triple contest will be on between the Congress-NCP combine, Shiv Sena-BJP-RPI association and the Raj Thackeray-led MNS.

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray estranged cousin Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray has also come in the battle of civil polls in Mumbai.

Campaigning for his first political rally in Mankhurd yesterday evening, he attacked on Raj over the issue of the Shivaji Park controversy under which Raj was denied by the High Court to permit his party to hold an election rally.
