Dell to roll-out Windows 8 tablet soon

Soon after the launch of the iPad 3 and its high success in the technical market, Dell’s Chief Commercial Officer Steve Felice has recently announced that the tablet market is still has high scopes and the company could benefit from it.

In 2011, Dell had tried to introduce its own tablet into the market, the Streak but the plan was postponed later.

However the company is now all set to roll-out a new tablet with Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating platform. Further, it is said in media that the new iPad will be rolled-out by the end of this year. Read more

RCom unveils CDMA tablet in India

India’s over all runner-up Reliance Communications launched its ‘Reliance CDMA Tab’ as entrant in the tablet markets to beat other competitors.

With an Android tablet running on both 3G and CDMA network, RCom is become the first telecom operator of India that offer duo network services in one tab.

‘Reliance CDMA Tab’ sports a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with a 2 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for qualitative view, powered by Android 2.3 OS and provide 512 MB of RAM .

Apple to launch new iPad soon, Fall in PCs likely

As iPad trends comes with a huge positive response of users, it decline of PCs rapidly. “The day will come when tablet devices like the Apple iPad outsell traditional personal computers”, reportedly the chief executive of Apple, Timothy D. Cook, predicted.

BSNL unveils 3 tablets, Lowest model worth Rs 3,250

BSNL put its hands as an entrant into the increasingly competitive market for the tablets by launching three tablets in New Delhi.

Three Penta TPAD IS7O1R, WS704C and WS802C, made by Noida-based Pantel are now available in market for usage and ready to beat the Aakash tablet that made by Datawind, promoted by a Canadian India.

Recently govt. has ordered more than thousands “Aakash” improved version to provide high networking services at price of Rs 2,250 for students.

As targeting the entry-level segment, BSNL fix the price range of three tablets at Rs 3,250, Rs 10,999 and Rs 13,500, high in comparison of Aakash, the reason may be of technical specifications.

Featuring with a 7″ resistive touchscreen, the Penta TPAD IS7O1R also sports 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, WiFi, 3G dongle supports & a front camera. This tablet seems to be a strong competitor of the Aakash tablet. Read more
