According to latest news, the world will experience five eclipses in the next year, and only two of them will be seen in India.
It is said that India would experience a partial lunar eclipse on April 25 and a penumbral lunar eclipse on October 18, 2013.
In a statement, Madhya Pradesh’s state Jiwaji Observatory, Ujjain, superintendent Rajendra Prakash Gupt said, “We will be providing telescopic facilities to sky-enthusiasts for these celestial events.”
Further, he said that a penumbral lunar eclipse would take place on May 25 and an annular solar eclipse on May 10 and a hybrid solar eclipse on November 3, but these would not be seen in the country.
