26/11 Mumbai Attack: Pakistani panel records report of Investigating Officer

Pakistan Panel investigated the key witnesses in the November 26 Mumbai terror attacks case today under the presence of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate S S Shinde.

Four key witnesses were including of Senior Inspector Ramesh Mahale, Magistrate R V Sawant-Waghule. Other two doctors who conducted victims’ post-mortem were also involved in the list of witnesses.

All the episode that how Police had grounded the Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab at Girgaum Chowpatty during the attacks while Kasab had shot at people and policemen, killing some and injuring many others, recorded by Commission on statement of Mahale, who had investigated the terror attacks case.

The 8-member Pakistan Commission recorded the statements of Magistrate Waghule who had given death sentenced soon after Kasab’s confession to his role in attacks by defining that he and nine others had been sent by Lashkar-e-Taiba to unleash terror in Mumbai.

Later, the turn was of two doctors, the Pak panel recorded the statements of them by asking all the detail of the postmortem of 26/11 victims and the nine slain terrorists that they had conducted.

The over all Pakistan Judicial Commission’s proceedings were held in courtroom which was deployed by camera before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate along with Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam.

Sentenced to death was ordered to Kasab by a Mumbai court, but still his appeal is pending before the Supreme Court.
