Acer launches 7-Inch Iconia B1 to take over Google Nexus 7

Acer has finally unveiled it’s much awaited a new budget friendly 7-Inch tablet dubbed “Iconia B1″ in Indian market.

Last week, Acer was launched its Iconia B1 at the world’s largest consumer technology event – CES 2013.

Acer Iconia B1 tablet is a device of high standard quality and reliability, guaranteeing a wholesome experience, the company said.

Framing with an improvised triangular corner grip on the lower left side, enables device for single handed use, having competition with Google Nexus7.

A stylish blue streak designed Acer Iconia B1packs with Google’s Android 4.1 OS (Jelly Bean) and 7” capacitive multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Mediatek processor (MTK 8317T) with 512MB RAM and 8GB internal storage which expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card.

As part of connectivity, Acer Iconia B1 features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. Acer Iconia B1’s 0.3MP front facing camera on the top right corner offers seamlessly connects video calls.

Promising 60% better resolution than the peer offerings to enjoy well experience of watching videos, e-reading, web browsing and playing games on the move, Acer has made available its tablet at a price of Rs 7,999 across the Indian market.
