In yet another shocking statement by spiritual guru Asaram Bapu on the Delhi gang rape and murder case. Asaram Bapu today gave shocking and criticized statement on the medical student who was brutally raped by six men on a bus did not do enough to save her.
Addressing his followers in Rajasthan’s Tonk region, Asaram Bapu said, “She should have taken God’s name and held the hand of one of the men and declared him her brother.”
Not only this, Asaram Bapu then said, “Galti ek taraf se nahi hoti hai (no mistake can be one-sided)”
Meanwhile, the 23-years-old girl was raped and assaulted with an iron rod by six men including one mino in a moving bus on December 16.
The girl died in a Singapore hospital on December 29 after fighting for her life for 13 days. Though, doctors said that she was a brave girl and wanted to live, her male friend, who was with her on the bus was also beaten up by sex men.
Moreover, people in national capital are now demanding capital punishment for the accused and protesting at India Gate and other parts in the country.
Reacting on Asaram Bapu’s statement on Delhi gang rape, BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “regrettable, deeply disturbing and painful.”

Ruling party, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said, “Such comments should be condemned as much as possible.” Another congress leader, Rashid Alvi said, “Political leaders, including religious leaders, must give serious thought before they speak out.”
