Barfi! nominates as India’s entry in Oscars 2013
Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Anurag Basu’s Barfi! ready to run in race of Oscars Award as India’s official entry in the category of ‘Best Foreign Language Film’2013 in February, contesting with 19 other.
This is the greatest opportunity for Ranbir Kapoor that for the first time his film being nominated for Academy Awards, as per decision taken by a Film Federation of India (FFI) in Hyderabad.
“It feels great. But there’s still a long way to go. The Oscars has to select it in the best five nominee’s list. We hope to get selected,” bollywood star Ranbir expressed warm greet.
Barfi!, a love story of Murphy aka Barfi a deaf and mute boy who goes happily with realization of his love and after pain of heart break, is succeed to make a special place in heart of audience viewers and critics alike with its simple, but powerful narrative as hit opening week record of Rs. 58.6 crore.

Beside Ranbir’s cutest, ever attractive role, the role of autistic girl Jhilmil, performed by Bollywood hotty Priyanka Chopra is also so much appreciated by audience with Bollywood debut of Southern star Ileana D’Cruz.
Less dialogue contented Barfi is set for being entered in list of Oscars and now wait is for its biggest appearances in wake of bagging awards.
