CM Nitish Kumar 150x150 Bihar CM Nitish Kumar kicks off Adhikar Yatra todayStarting with political reform, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar set to come on streets with a move to start his road rally, named Adhikar Yatra on Monday, promising to give his full support to any party which stand with his demand of special category status to Bihar.

CM who already announced his future course of action in front of media and also by sending official letters to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, is ready to go with public movement spreading message that the special category status was a matter of right for Bihar and its people and not begging for alms.

“Bihar ke 40 sansado ke bina Delhi main koi sarkar nahi banegi, yaad rakhiyega isko,” Bihar CM repeatedly warned to the Centre, citing flood and drought as the reason for his demand to be granted, as per source.

Nitish’s Adhikar Yatra seems to be a pressure for Opposition party, especially Lalu Prasad, alarming that he never let off his “special status to Bihar” new campaign which surly give him political significant in upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, State Congress president Choudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser denounced Nitish’s decision to launch the yatra, saying that he is on his ‘Vidai Yatra’.

“There has been spurt in incidents of murder, kidnapping and rape, while Nitish has made the special category state status to Bihar a political issue,” he added.
