Cold waves strikes New Delhi, temp dips 2.9 degrees Celsius

There looks no relief from cold waves to people living in and around national capital as the temperature dips to minimum on Saturday at 2.9 degrees Celsius, which 4 degrees below normal.

However, the weather department has predicted a clear weather in coming days.

In a report, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said, “The city was enveloped by the fog in the morning, but the day will be clear. The maximum temperature would hover around 15 degree Celsius.”

Further, IMD Officials said that the visibility at 8.30 am was 600 metres and humidity was 94%.

The maximum temperature on Friday was below 5 degrees normal at 15.7 degree and the lowest temperature was at 2.7 degree, 4 degrees normal.

if talked about figures, it has been a particularly harsh winter for North India this time. As around 22 people have died in the past 24 hours increasing the overall death toll to 129.
