Amid Indian Smartphone market, India’s third largest mobile operating company, Idea introduced its new 3G Android Smartphone, “AURUS” with Dual SIM connectivity at the Idea Cellular’s Press Conference in Mumbai.

Idea a leading smartphone company already lined up its several models in 3G Smartphone series, now this time Idea comes with its latest fourth model but an affordable, giving users a ‘smart life’ video calling experience.

Stylish Idea’s latest Aurus features a 3.5-inch capacitive multi-touch HVGA display with 320×480 pixels resolution, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by 800MHz CPU with a MediaTek SOC and has 256MB RAM while 512MB ROM, along with pre installed apps such as Idea TV, Facebook, Twitter, Idea Mall andYouTube.

In part of camera features, Idea’s latest device comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera as well for 3G video calling. Aurus gives users a 4GB MicroSD card, expandable upto 32GB, packs with Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, with one SIM option.

The company claims to offer 3G benefits worth Rs. 2,340 with Aurus on recharge of Rs. 259. However, Idea’s stylish looking Aurus 3G Android handset is available on all major mobile retail and Idea outlets at price of Rs. 7,190.
