The Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has joined the club of 100 crore for the second time as his latest released film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ has crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore in India itself.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, “#JTHJ [2nd Week] Fri 2.75 cr. Total: 101.16 cr nett. CROSSES 100 cr MARK IN INDIA.”
When released, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, had mixed reviews and audiences came due to filmmaker Yash Chopra’s name but slowly the film worked well.
Yash Chopra’s last film as a director, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has so far earned Rs 150 crore worldwide. Taran Adarsh tweets, “”#JTHJ *Worldwide total* [1st week; 10 days] Rs 150.41 cr. India + Entire Overseas total.”
Nowadays, Rs 100 crore phenomenon is not a tough job for many films and actors. In fact, the mark will soon shift to Rs 150 crore.
