Jab Tak Hai Jaan1 150x150 Jab Tak Hai Jaan would most special film of 2012: Karan JoharThe Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has recently said in an interview that Yash Chopra’s upcoming film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ would be the most special film of 2012 and it might be the last film of Yash Chopra.

Talking to media, the 40-years-old filmmaker said, “Yashji (Yash Chopra) is like my father. His birthday this year is very special because he is probably making his last film. All of our films are releasing this year but that film will be the most special experience of 2012.”

Yash Chopra will be celebrating his 80th birthday on Thursday. Karan Johar said, “This year is special not just for him but for the whole industry because Yashji’s last film is releasing this year.”

Meanwhile, filmmaker Yash Chopra is making a comeback after 8-long years as a director. He lasted directed film in 2004, ‘Veer-Zaara’.

Actor Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sherma would be playing the lead role in the film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and the film release on 13 November.

On the other hand, Karan Johar is happy that Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi!’ making it to the Oscers.

He said, “I am thrilled to bits and I think what better film than ‘Barfi!’ to make it. I have gone on record to say how it was truly most spectacular film experience I have had in years. It’s really everyone’s wish come true that ‘Barfi’ makes it and I hope it walks the red carpet next year.”
