A documentary filmmaker, Callum Macrae be the cause of passing violating waves in Sri Lanka ahead of his claim to have a “chilling piece of 2009 footage” showing LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran’s 12-year-old son Balachandran’s body is stripped to the waist and with five bullet holes to the chest.
The film documentary that will be aired in Channel-4 on 14 March based on 12 March 2009 footage – Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished–a sequel to the controversial investigation broadcast last year which accused both the LTTE and the Sri Lankan government of war crimes and crimes against
humanity.
Emerging as show case on a mystery around the last days of the assault on LTTE, footage revealed that the child along with his bodyguards was killed by the Sri Lankan army during the human rights violations riot against US.
