Mahindra Reva to launch electric car E20

Mahindra Reva, nearly two decade old electric car company is set to hit a grand comeback with launch of its new generation electric hatchback, E20.

Targeting a kick start in Indian electric car market segment, Reva hinted to debut the first electric car of India anytime from now in this month, may be mid of March.

Though the electric car Reva NXR was unveiled at the Auto Expo held in January 2012, but to ensure safety over new technology to India, the launch took long time to land in market.

Seeking to be skeptical of the industry, Reva E20 with its new specs shaping the future of all such products launched henceforth is expected to become the toughest load of cars coming in.

The company claimed, new E20 will use next generation Lithium Ion batteries, providing eco-system with Sun2Car solar technology, and clean mobility solutions.

Framing with a plastic, light-weight body, Reva E20 has a range of 100 kms on a full charge with more power, high per charge run, less recharging time and enough room for four people.

E 20 will be much affordable to maintain, enable users to carry out self fuelling, but pricewise it would be little costlier than the others, while price is yet to be announced.
