Maruti unveils facelifted Wagon R

Maruti Suzuki is on work to launch the facelifted version of its most popular and one of the successful models to date, Maruti Wagon R.

To positioned in amid SUV battle with lost of competitors, Maruti said to come with its new facelift version which would have new OBD II compliant engine.

The car framed with fog lamp bezel design would get additional features with a stylish and new front bumper and chrome grille LXi and VXi variants.

With more additional changes, facelifted Wagon R would be powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder K Series petrol motor, and will be offered in petrol, LPG and CNG variants and CNG variants.

Maruti Wagon R was launched in December 1999 and after that the car has a sale record of 12.34 lakh units and has passed towards three upgrades as well as changes.

Now this time, Wagon R facelift would be the fourth upgrade with unchanged power and torque figures but with 8% increase fuel efficiency.
