According to latest news, the body of missing Indian student Souvik Pal has been found in a canal in Old Trafford in UK. Souvik Pal, 19-years-old, went missing on New Year’s Eve and the local police was searing him since then.
However, the police is not ready to declare the cause of his death and the truth will come out after a post-mortem report.
Souvik Pal was an undergraduate student at the Manchester Metropolitan University and went missing from a night club. It is said in news that Souvik was last seen at the party at around 11pm and was reported missing by a flamate the following morning.
Talking to media, Detective Chief Inspector Colin Larkin said, “Our thoughts and condolences are with Souvik’s family at this devastating time and our officers are doing all they can to support them.”
On the other hand, Souvik Pal’s father Santanu had been in UK and was trying to search his son. Santanu said, “We do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding Souvik’s death and a file will be submitted to the coroner in due course.”
In the meantime, numbers of appeals were made to look-out Souvik also the use of digital advertising hoardings at Manchester United’s domestic Premier League of Football home game against Liverpool.
It is said in news, Souvik Pal was working as a part-time job as refreshment at the stadium and worked at Manchester United’s game against West Bromwich Albion on December 29.
