MNS-NCP Clash: Attack on Raj Thackeray’s convey, 5 injured

In amid violent rage, NCP and MNS workers attacked each other with pelting stones on Tuesday at Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district.

As per reports, the incident took place when Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray was leaving a public meeting in Ahmednagar .

No arrests have been made following the clash in which five people along with a police inspector , have injured, reports added.

Around 50 NCP workers who gathered at Bhingar holding black flags were protesting against Raj Thackeray’s criticism of NCP leaders.

Sources said that, in the beginning there were verbal clashes between workers, but suddenly all went to violent, workers pelting stones at each others.

Earlier, at his public rallies, MNS chief criticized President Sharad Pawar and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar to be responsible for the severe drought in the state.
