According to latest Telecom sector news, the CDMA service provider MTS India has today announced new plan which allows its customers to make local calls, STD, roaming and ISD calls at a flat rate of 30p/min.
The company also revealed that an SMS will cost 30 paise and data usage will also cost 30p/MB.
During the launch of new plan, the MTS India’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Leonid Musatov said, “Under this distinctive and unmatched plan, MTS will provide all services, including local, STD, roaming and ISD calls, SMS and Data usage at flat 30 paisa.”
MTS India has more than 16 million users allover India and the new plan would applicable both for the new as well as existing customers with a recharge coupon priced between Rs 50 to Rs 100.
During roaming, service users can make and receive calls at 30p/min to anywhere in India.
However, the company announced that the offer of 30p/min ISD calls rates will only applicable for making calls to United States and Canada with a cap of 100 minute per month and standard rate provided by MTS India will be charged after the usage limits ends.
The company also announced free access to social networking site, Facebook, for one month through MTS Planet on entry level phones provided by the operator.
