Narendra Modi meets Manmohan Singh, gives memorandum Sardar Sarovar dam

In yet another news from the political sector, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday, “It was a good meeting that lasted for a quite a while.”

Mr. Narendra Modi said this to media after his meeting with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in national capital.

Further, Gujarat Chief Minister said, “It was a good meeting. We spoke for quite a while on various issues.”

He further told media that he gave the PM a memorandum on issues related to the Sardar Sarovar dam.

The Gujarat Chief Minister, who arrived in Delhi in the morning, reached the Prime Minister’s residence around 10 a.m.

Meanwhile, a protest has been planned outside the college Wednesday afternoon against Modi’s visit to the university. “Do not legitimise the mastermind of Gujarat genocide in our academic spaces,” said an SMS asking students to gather in the North Campus.

Officials said the visit was a courtesy call.
