Nokia Pureview 808 introduced in India, costs Rs 29,999

Latest Technology Sector news releases that 41-megapixel Nokia 808 PureView smartphone that will be launched firstly in India in May, according to official report, will be price at Rs 29,999.

The company refused the report regarding its price tag that at the source code of the Nokia shop website.

“We outsource certain chores, and for that we have to give price related information.

So, in such cases, we furnish a dummy price, and not the actual (true) price. In this case also (the one mentioned in the source code), Rs 29,999 is a dummy price and the 808 Pureview will not be available for this price,” official source told reporters.

The Nokia 808 PureView, the winner of accolades and awards at the Mobile Phone Convention in Barcelona earlier this year, will be launch first in Indian markets to explore PureView, clear zooming imaging technology.

Nokia’s new Smartphone features a high-resolution mega pixel camera, runs on the Symbian Belle OS and facilitates 16 GB internal storage, 4.0-inch AMOLED Display, 1.3 GHz ARM 11 processor and 512 MB of RAM.

As per source said, it is powered by high-performance Carl Zeiss optics and new pixel oversampling technology and is said to be more expensive, while still no official confirmation has been revealed about its price.

Moreover, the company completely refused the report that the phone will be priced at Rs 29,999. It may be at above Rs 30K and may below the ‘leaked’ price.
