As per a Charity Group, Cancer Research UK that studied this fact said the rates of mouth cancer in Britain figured above 6,000 last year, for the first time in the UK probably due to rise in oral sex.

However major part as two-thirds of about 6,200 cases diagnosed in 2011 were in men who usually dealt with risk factors in mouth cancer include heavy drinking, smoking and sexually transmitted HPV infection.

“We have also noticed that patients with HPV-related oral cancers tend to be younger, are less likely to be smokers and have better outcomes from treatment than those whose tumors show no evidence of HPV. This raises questions as to exactly how these cancers develop and why they only affect a small proportion of people who are exposed,” he said.

If we know about where this threatening HPV-related cancers has fallen, then this would be at two base areas of mouth, the tongue and the tonsils. 90 % hike cases of mouth cancer at the base of the tongue while 70 percent increase at tonsil.

As per report, if analyze the real proportion of tolls, there are 8 Britons out of 10 will contract HPV infection in their lives, and just one of HPV-16 is known to cause cancer.

Mainly mouth ulcers, any lumps or thickening in the mouth, lips or throat, or red or white patches in the mouth are symptoms that show the person infected and in catch of HPV oral cancer.
