The first superstar of the Hindi film industry, actor Rajesh Khanna, who was admitted to a private hospital here on Saturday, is recovering well and reports have said that he will be soon discharged from the hospital in a couple of days.
Rajesh Khanna, 69-years-old, who was not feeling well since past few days, was admitted to private hospital, Lilavati Hospital due to “exhaustion” and “weakness”.
Talking to media, Khanna’s estranged wife Dimple Kapadia, said, “He (Rajesh) is fine…He is much better today. He should get discharged in a day or two.”
Earlier, it was said in media that the actor was suffering from liver infection when some reports have said that his kidneys had been highly affected. But, actress Dimple Kapadia has told media that there is no such infection and reports saying the actor were only a “little weak”.
On the other hand, Rajesh Khanna’s manager Ashwin had said, Rajesh had stopped taking food for the last three-four days though he was at home.
However, the actor had emerged at the balcony of his house ‘Aashirwad’ to wave at his fans. He was surrounded by his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and actor son-in-law Akshay Kumar.
At that time, the actor, with bearded, repeatedly flashed the victory sign with a smile. In April 2012, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after he complained of uneasiness and exhaustion.
