The most wanted terrorist who was among the 6 instructors or handlers of the men who attacked Mumbai on 26/11 has been arrested by the special cell of the Delhi police today.
Meanwhile, around 166 people lost their lives in that attack in 2008.
The Delhi police has arrested Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Hamza on June 21, though, there is no information that from where he was arrested or how.
However, some reports have said that Indian intelligence agency has worked Saudi Arabian intelligence officials to track him down.
Abu Hamza is a member of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) which carried out the Mumbai attacks, was in Pakistan when ten terrorist entered in to Mumbai from Karachi via sea.
Ansari was the man who made a chilling statement at that time, “Yeh to sirf trailer hai, asal film baaki hai (this is just the trailer, the film has yet to start rolling).”
The Indian intelligence agency has now matched his voice with the tapes.
Abu Hamza, 30-years-old, belongs to the Georai area of Beed district in Maharashtra. Abu Hamza is also wanted in a case of Mumbai trains attack held in 2006 which left 180 people dead.
On tape, Abu Hamza was also heard using classic Hindi words such as “prashasan” (administration), indicating an Indian was in Pakistan among those coordinating the attacks in Mumbai
Ansari was allegedly originally a member of the banned terror group SIMI and was later recruited by Lashker-e-Taiba.
