On debate of his political journey, the Rajya Sabha member, MP Sachin Tendulkar showed his cards in politics by downing the Government bungalow Type 7 as he thinks a waste of the tax payer’s money.
Recently Sachin nominated as MP in the parliament House of Rajya Sabha and as a politician, the government was allotted him the Type 7 bungalow in the New Delhi’s 5, Tuglaq Lane, a neighboring house to Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi’s.
But who is the God of Cricket, Master Blaster Tendulkar has clearly said, “I am not keen on blocking a government bungalow. This would be a waste of taxpayers’ money as I reside in Mumbai. It would be better if the bungalow is allotted to someone else who needs it.”
The Hero of international cricket game would prefer to stay in a hotel at his own expense till his stay in Delhi to attend the Parliamentary sessions.
“It’s a personal decision we should respect,” RS MP Prof PJ Kurien, vice-chairmen of the Upper House said, while reporters asked him about Tendulkar’s decision.
Talking to media, Tendulkar expressed his joy to greet the Parliament as a member of the upper house, he said, “For me, the honour of being nominated as Rajya Sabha MP matters the most.”
In the move to allot a Type 7 quarter to Tendulkar, amid controversy has come as it is in the first time that a MP allotted Type 7 in initial time while any MP has received Type 5 or Type 6 bungalows in first time.
