RCom unveils CDMA tablet in India

India’s over all runner-up Reliance Communications launched its ‘Reliance CDMA Tab’ as entrant in the tablet markets to beat other competitors.

With an Android tablet running on both 3G and CDMA network, RCom is become the first telecom operator of India that offer duo network services in one tab.

‘Reliance CDMA Tab’ sports a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with a 2 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for qualitative view, powered by Android 2.3 OS and provide 512 MB of RAM .

Just 397g of weight, this CDMA tablet provide network connectivity across 22 circles in over 1000 towns in the country.

While unveiled tab, Sanjay Behl, group head, brand and marketing, Reliance Communications told reporters, ”With the rapid increase in data consumption in India and with Reliance’ superior HSD Network in over 1000 towns, the launch of the Reliance CDMA Tab is another step to carry forward our mission of wirefree India.”

Aiming the “mission of wireless India”, this high qualifying professional preference tab will prove to be friendly for professionals as having email capability with support of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PDF formats.

Interestingly, company is facilitating a 1 year free subscription on McAfee Mobile Security, 2 months free subscription on BigFlix+, and Rs 250 worth of calling on Reliance Global Call, only just at Rs 2,100.

Addition to it, tariff plans of 50p per min for all intra and inter circle calls especially for postpaid users is offered with discounts of up-to 40 percent on the regular rates.

Such 3G and CDMA network Tab, accessing mobile TV, voice calling, GPS, and video recording, is available in market and users can purchase it at price of Rs 12,999.
