Samsung hits 10m Galaxy sales in India

South Korean company, Samsung has confirmed sales numbers of its Galaxy products in Indian Market since the launch of first Galaxy model- Galaxy S in June 2010.

Samsung said that till now, the company has hit more than 10 million sale units of Samsung Galaxy.

However, no claimed over individual contribution of a particular Galaxy sale number, the record is considered to be the combined result of devices like Galaxy Y, Galaxy SII and Galaxy SIII.

The sale numbers have also included Galaxy Tablet such as Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 2 310 and Galaxy Note, together contributed more than 50 percent of the sales with smartphones.

In amid Indian Smartphone market, Samsung is the dominating company having share of a 41.6 percent and seeking to boost growth as of positioning 13 Galaxy devices in market with price ranging between Rs 6,790 to Rs 39,990.
