Amid Karnataka crisis regarding to replace chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda, rebel camp of former CM B S Yeddyurappa pressured the BJP Parliamentary party to appoint Jagadish Shettar as new State’s CM, in place of Yeddyurappa.

Firing the political situation, yesterday Yeddyurappa along with 55 MLAs, holding a meeting and set a deadline on July 5 to BJP high command to replace Gowda and appoint his nominee Jagadish Shettar, reports said. Read more

Former Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa to attend BJP National Executive

Following the patch up of party president Nitin Gadkari with Gujarat Chief Minister Narender Singh Modi, former Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa recently announced to go to Mumbai for being part of the concluding session of the BJP National Executive meeting on Friday.

At the moment when Gadkari will get a second term on his post, Yeddyurappa, earlier decided to skip the meet apparently upset over his removal from the chief minister’s post following graft charges, wants to attend the meet to congratulate him. Read more

karnataka BJP 300x224 Yeddyurappa meets Gadkari to make peace in KarnatakaThe chances of former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa are going to be high as his supporters requested Nitin Gadkari, the BJP president to ask Yeddyurappa for once again join chief ministership by Feb 27.

During his two-day Chintan Manthan or brainstorming session, started today, Mr. Gadkari met Yeddyurappa in Bangalore to take some guidelines for removal of a huddle with all its MLAs and MPs as another crisis over issuing an ultimatum to his party in Karnataka.

As per source report, Yeddyurappa said that he was dissatisfied with the current chief minister, Sadananda Gowda who getting too close for comfort to his rival JDS chief HD Deve Gowda. It was the Yeddyurappa who had helped Sadananda Gowda become the Chief Minister after he was forced to resign. Read more
