LPG cap to be raised, EC says “No”
The proposal of raising the cap on subsidised LPG cylinders from six to nine a household a year would be taken by Cabinet very shortly, according to UPA government.
“I think it is likely to go up definitely from six to nine cylinders, and the Cabinet [Committee on Political Affairs] will have to grant its approval to the proposal,” Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Veerappa Moily told reporters. Read more

Head of Congress election coordination committee for 2014 election, Rahul Gandhi bow into new asset de-recognision allegations raised by Subramanian Swamy.
As per Swamy, Congress general secretary, Mr. Gandhi gave galse affidavit regarding information of his assets while filing nomination papers for the Amethi Lok sabha seat in the 2009 polls.

Modi misusing the state machinery for the Assembly elections: Congress
Reports from the Gujarat Congress, in a meeting with the Election Commission state that the state Chief Minister and his government were misusing Gujarat’s machinery for the Assembly elections campaign.
The Gujarat Congress delegation was headed by Gujarat Congress chief Arjun Modhwadia to the Election Commissions office on Saturday.
Further, Congress chief also alleged that principal secretary to the Chief Minister, K Kailashnathan, was furthering Modi’s political agenda. Read more
