Jodhpur court summons Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan in February for poaching case

The Dabangg actor Salman Khan along with three others were today summoned by a local court to appear before Jodhpur court on 14 February facing charges in the Black Buck poaching case.

It is said by the defence counsel Hastimal Saraswat that the lower court had framed actor Salman Khan under sections of the Wildlife Act, the Arms Act and the IPC and the other actors including Saif Ali Khan, Tabbu, Sonali Bendre, Nilam, Dushyant Singh and Dinesh Gawre, were framed under the Wildlife act and the IPC. The role of Langda Tyagi in Omkara by actor Saif Ali Khan has been turned out to be a turning point in his Bollywood career, but the director Vishal Bhardwaj has recently said that it was Aamir Khan who was keen to do the role of Langda Tyagi initially.

The film, Omkara, released in 2006 and it was a huge hit film of the year.
