Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched a new variant of sports utility vehicle, Fortuner – five-speed automatic version in Indian market.
The Japanese automaker will now also offer the Fortuner TRD Sportivo as a regular variant in its lineup that was introduced as a limited edition in October 2012.
“Further adding to Fortuner’s strength of unmatched road presence and luxury, we have now introduced the five-speed automatic transmission… The five-speed AT will further add to the drive quality and comfort,” TKM Deputy Managing Director and COO (Marketing and Commercial) Sandeep Singh told reporters.
The booking for this 5 speed automatic Toyota Fortuner will open starting January 18, 2013.
Toyota Fortuner automatic transmission version will be available in market at price between Rs 22.33 lakh and Rs 22.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
However, for the TRD Sportivo variant, customer have to pay Rs 21.97 lakh , for ex-showroom, Delhi.
