Acer launches low cost ‘Iconia B1-A71’ tablet

Running on Android Jelly Bean OS, Acer’s new Iconia B1-A71 is best choice for kids as the most affordable tablet as adjusted with customers pocket.

The Iconia B1-A71 has a 7-inch WSVGA capacitive multitouch display with 1024×600 resolutions. The tablet is powered by MediaTek processor (MTK 8317T) clocked at 1.2GHz dual-core with 512MB RAM.

As part of storage, 8GB built-in memory us there with expandable option to 32GB via a MicroSD card.
Other features include a front-facing webcam, voice search, a micro-USB port, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.

Targeting the tablet market segment, Acer will be reach Indian shores as soon as end of January, to be priced starting at $150.

Acer will have to face challenge from Nexus 7 with the launch of this tablet on form of affordable price and storage.
