Anil Kapoor and Abhinay Deo in search of 30 new faces

Bollywood buzz has that actor Anil Kapoor, who has acquired the rights of popular American TV Series ‘24’, is looking to cast 30 new faces in the Indian version of the counter-terrorism drama.

Moreover, the original show, which ran for eight seasons, also had actor Anil Kapoor in the final season as a cameo.

The Indian version of the show will be directed by Abhinay Deo, who has joined hands with Anil Kapoor to bring out new talent in India.

Abhinay Deo and Anil Kapoor have already started taking auditions for the selection of 30 new faces. In fact, they are also scouting for locations where the TV series will be shot.

Talking to media, a source said, “It is true that Abhinay and Anil are looking to launch 30 new faces for the Indian version of TV series ’24′”

Further, the show ‘24’ will be completed by end of January next year as soon as the cast and locations are finalized. The show ‘24’ will be aired on Colors TV.

In the Indian version Kapoor will play the iconic character of Jack Bauer, essayed by Kiefer Sutherland in the original.
